I’m thrilled that my book’s journey has come to an end, in one sense. The title, Only for You, Lord: The faith journey of a pastor’s wife, was conceived almost 20 years ago, along with a couple of pages of the Preface. Work began on some of the chapters about six years ago. But it was three years ago, when I lost my job during the COVID-19 pandemic, that work continued in earnest on this project. I’m so thankful for the inspiration and perseverance God has given me to finish it.
In another sense, my book is about to begin another journey as it makes its way into the hands of readers. I’m excited about this new chapter of its adventure. I pray that it would be an inspiration to others as they read its pages. May it help them, through the Holy Spirit’s work, begin a faith journey, or continue on steadfastly in the one He’s already begun in them. I look forward to hearing feedback from those into whose hands it makes its way.
